House Resolution 272 passed yesterday [6/14/2023].  It is the third time Representative Haley Stevens has brought forward a resolution calling on the Kremlin to release Paul.  It means so much that our parents can tell Paul on their phone calls about this continued support from the U.S. government.  While a Congressional resolution isn't a lever to immediately spring Paul free from his prison, it is a reminder to the Kremlin that the U.S. government is resolute and unwavering in its attention to Paul's case.

Sen. Gary Peters has introduced the third Senate resolution calling for Paul's release (118 S.Res. 156), co-sponsored by Sen. Stabenow and Sen. Cornyn.  We hope that the Senate will again take up this opportunity to show it is steadfast in support of bringing wrongfully detained Americans home from Russia.  Perhaps this will be the last Congress to have to restate their resolve to bring Paul home.
